The most practical curriculum for AI builders.

Here’s what we cover in Mastering Agentic AI. Each week, learners apply a new part of the AI stack to a hands-on project, from the first prototype through evaluation, fine-tuning, and security.

Mastering Agentic AI certification by The Gen Academy, taught by Aishwarya Srinivasan and Arvind Narayanamurthy
WEEK01

Build the first prototype

Code a working V1 of an LLM-powered application focused on a specific use case.

WEEK02

Add RAG, context, and memory

Extend the prototype with relevant knowledge retrieval, contextual information, and a memory layer.

WEEK03

Design an agentic system

Build a fuller agentic workflow with tools, orchestration, and clearly defined system components.

WEEK04

Evaluate the agent

Create an evaluation workflow to test agent behavior, measure quality, and identify areas for improvement.

WEEK05

Fine-tune an LLM

Complete a fine-tuning project that adapts a model to a defined task or use case.

WEEK06

Add security and safety

Incorporate safeguards and test how the application handles unsafe inputs and adversarial behavior.

A note from Aish & Arvind

Hello fellow learner,

AI is moving too quickly for learning to live only in static courses. The most useful knowledge is often still in the heads of the people building, researching, and applying it every day.

We started The Gen Academy to bring those people and curious learners into the same room through practical sessions that are open, timely, and grounded in real work.

Our mission is to make frontier AI knowledge accessible to anyone, directly from the people shaping it.

Come for one Live Lab. Leave with an idea you can use and a community you can keep learning with.

With curiosity,

Aish & Arvind
